The WL500G (1.9.2.7-6b) seems to detect the Lexmark z605 printer correctly:
Aug 27 19:24:16 kernel: printer.c: usblp0: USB Bidirectional printer dev 2 if 0 alt 0 proto 2 vid 0x043D pid 0x0078
Aug 27 19:24:16 kernel: printer.c: usblp0 Device ID string [102]='MFG:Lexmark ;CMD:CPDNPA001;MODEL:Z600 Series;CLASS:Printer;DES:Lexmark Z600 Series;COMMENT:030305-1;'
Aug 27 19:24:38 kernel: printer.c: usblp0 Device ID string [102/max 1552]='MFG:Lexmark ;CMD:CPDNPA001;MODEL:Z600 Series;CLASS:Printer;DES:Lexmark Z600 Series;COMMENT:030305-1;'
Aug 27 19:24:38 kernel: printer.c: Parsing USBLPID...
I tried different settings (LPR /Raw) but the PC driver (windows XP) still complains about the communication (only possible to connect via USB cable)
I know the Lexmark Z605 is reported as not working in the "Reported compatible Hardware" forum, but is there a workaround to get it working ?
