Quick question to you all:

If you have:
1: WPA AES enabled
2: The wireless firewall enabled
3: The wireless DHCP server enabled

do you get a connection with you wireless client/laptop?

I trying to find out if the problem is wl-500g or laptop related...

thanks for your reply..

Thanks for the answer.. 2 quick additional questions..

1) What IP number are you getting on your wireless connection? Is it in the 192.168.2.x range or is it in the 192.168.1.x range?

2) Question 2: the wireless-firewall-page on the router states that the wireless DNS will only work when the wireless firewall is enabled.. would you please be so kind verify that on you side

thanks,

Pascal

Not getting connection.

I have the same problem like you.
I's not working even when assigning static 192.168.2.x IP's to the wireless MAC.

It's only working with 192.168.1.x, DHCP sometimes does not assign proper IP, so I set it to static.
You're right, it depends on the encryption level....

We should continue discussion on http://wl500g.info/showthread.php?t=276
it's the same issue
