Hi there,
I am running the 'stupidFTP' server on my incredible (so far) asus router, and I'd like to play multimedia files on the external hard drive directly on my computer, without having to download it. Has anyone an idea?

Cheers to the Asus community.

It would be possible if you can get nfs (daemon) to run. I tried to run it from the USB flash drive however it seems asus did not compile kernel 2.4.18 with the needed patches for this version of nfs, therefore I get a unresolved symbol :
# insmod sunrpc.o
Using sunrpc.o
# insmod lockd.o
Using lockd.o
# insmod nfs.o
Using nfs.o
insmod: unresolved symbol contig_page_data
Hopefully our ASUS friends can change that... (or just publish the WL500g sources :D )
