I'm trying to connect my wl500gx to a WEP'ed network. It connects to a 802.11B open or WEP'd network just fine. I think the problem may lie in that this network is 802.11B/G. The AP that I'm trying to connect to is a D-Link, if that makes any differance. Many other devices, laptops, printers, connect just fine. Any ideas on wl options to try to get this beast to connect?

Use HEX wep keys, that's it.

I used hex wep keys in both cases, that's what's driving me nuts. I used the exact same "wl join <ssid> key <13 charators here>" format for both networks, the pure B one works, the B/G one still doesn't.

Any other ideas?

Why don't you use web interface for managing client mode?

And try both settings: "Open System or Shared Key" and "Shared key".
