Hi everybody,
Has somebody some exerience how to change the local HTTP port for the administration pages and change the device name showed in login screen?
So many times happened, that non autorized persons trying acces my ASUS on port 80. And the device report his really name : WL500d.Deluxe
In NVRAM this parameters are exist, I can change them, but does not has eny influence.
nvram show |grep http
the result is:
[root@server root]$ nvram show |grep http_
http_wanport=
http_username=
http_passwd=
http_lanport=80
misc_http_x=1
size: 10557 bytes (22211 left)
there is the HTTP_LANPORT, maybe this is the port for admin menu.
with the same command you can get the device name
Changing SHOW to SET are possible to SET the changes, but after saving and commitiing in the NVRAM, no changes takes effect.
Has somebody som experience how to change it?
