ipkg and ftp

Hi,
I installed on my router (500b) the package IPKG in accordance with Macsat's tutorial (www.macsat.com). There was no problem. But I have lost possibility to copy there some files over ftp. I tried to install vsftpd server, but there was some problem. So I created my scripts again manualy with vi and saved them to the /opt . No problem with creating directories and files in /opt. But I can't run them. I already get message : Permissions denied.

What to do with it?

in order to make script run, you need to set execute permission for it - try and google chmod or chown commands, but
chmod +x filename should do it:-).
