Phillips ToUcam II (PVCV 820K/00)

I've tried to get my "Phillips ToUcam II (PVCV 820K/00)" running on the Asus WL-500g (firmware 1.7.5.6) but the preview page display's: can't connect to server.
The red light on my webcam is working, and the cam also works when attached directly to my computer.
Have tried all the settings (incl. reboot) and i don't get a picture.
Does this mean the camera doesn't work with the Asus WL-500g or might it be some software issue like Symantec Internet Sec. Suite or Internet Explorer security settings?
