Sorry if these have already been asked:

1) Can you turn the Wireless network function OFF? (I read somewhere that you cannot - has this now changed?)

2) Are there plans to enable WPA encryption in Client mode? Why do some manufacturers still ignore WPA?!

I have an WL-HDD with official ASUS Firmware 1.2.3.4 and I'm able to switch off WLAN. WPA I didn't checked because if you switch off WLAN you don't need.
