SQUID IN WL500g

im thinking in recompile and configure squid to asus WL500G and i would to know if its possible or if someone have been tried it or knows if its possible i other routers with 100mhz..

just imagine enormous disk usage,with milions of small files on a tiny 100mhz procesor.... bad thing is that squid is allmost 8 megabytes exe file... in whic part of ram can you put it? more bad thing is that squid needs more than 8 megabyte free ram for first cache table, wich is later stored on disk
