Появилась забавная добавка к роутеру Asus RT-N66U - EA-N66

The ASUS EA-N66 is the world’s first dual-band wireless Ethernet adapter that delivers selectable 450Mbps bands in both 2.4GHz and 5GHz.
Besides the patented orthogonal antenna design optimizes wireless signal coverage, the EA-N66 acts as a 3-in-1 home networking solution
with its Ethernet adapter, repeater and access point modes. When paired with the RT-N66U, the EA-N66 gives gamers incredible network
speeds and coverage for multiplayer gaming sessions.
There are few Ethernet to Wi-Fi bridges out there, but ASUS wants its EA-N66 to be noteworthy for more than just that one reason.
What the company did was give it a very special look, one that will make owners want to put it on display instead of hiding.
Owners can select between 2.4GHz and 5GHz transmission modes, while the orthogonal antenna design optimizes signal coverage.
For those who want the specs, it supports dual band 450Mbps 802.11n Wi-Fi.
Thus, the EA-N66 behaves as a 3-in-1 home networking solution, working as either an Ethernet adapter, a Wi-Fi repeater
(extends Wi-Fi network range) or in access point mode (for when users have a web connection that doesn't need a router).
Unfortunately, the company did not say how much this thing would cost or when sales might begin.
Asus also unleashed a funky EA-N66 dual-band wireless Ethernet adapter. It sorta looks like a transporter deck you can step into.
We doubt Asus is releasing those to the public yet. The EA-N66 provides the same 450Mbps bandwidth but only on either
the 2.4GHz or 5GHz channels. You can also set it as a repeater or an access point node for growing your network.
The RT-N66U will sell for around $179, while the EA-N66 will be $59 when they are released later this month.
