Bekijk de volledige versie : wireless-tools?
I really miss iwconfig, iwlist and so forth, I assume those should be usable with the eth2 device of the wl-hdd? Any chance for an ipkg? :)
no, they're not usable with broadcom wireless stuff.
I see, and there are no equivalent tools available?
Is the "802.1x with radius" mode supposed to work?
When I try this, I no longer see the essid broadcasted.

Instead of setting your interface with iwconfig, you use wl command.
executing wl provides you with a [long] list of options
[admin@wifi /opt]$ wl
Usage: wl [-a|i <adapter>] [-hu] <command> [arguments]
-a, -i adapter name or number
-h, -u this message
ver get version information
cmds generate a short list of available commands
up reinitialize and mark adapter up (operational)
down reset and mark adapter down (disabled)
