I have the WL500Gx and can't get to work with this printer!
I tried every thing, the official firmwares and the patched ones, and nothing works.
The printer doesn't appears listed in the administration pages or in the "device discovery" application.
I'm running in "Access Point" operation mode.

I get this messages in the System Log with the 1.9.2.7-5a firmware, when tried to print two testes pages.
During the test I was using the port with the RAW:9100 configuration.

If the HP OJ T65 is from the same sort of family of the HP OJ G85 it will not work using USB

So, do you've WL500g or WL500g Deluxe? And why did you use port 9100 with LPT?
I have WL500g Deluxe... and I used 9100 with RAW, because that's what I've seen everywhere, that it's supposed to use when selecting RAW mode...
But for now I tink that I have to first figure it out how to get the router to see the printer, since it doesn't even appears in the status administrator page!
I suppose that my problem is related to the fact that the firmware doesn't recognizes my printer.
Is it possible to add the driver to the GPL code and compile it??? Can you guys help me with some tutorials on this subject, just to shortcut my work?
By the way isn't possible to make a way to import dinamically drivers to the firmware, kind of what happens in a regular PC OS??

uhm.. how do you connect your printer then to the router?
the WL500g Deluxe does not have a LPT Port..
Well my firmware says 500g-Deluxe, my manual says the same... but indeed the box where it came didn't!
However I do have a LPT port on the back of my router!
Post a picture from the firmware upgrade page.
I just tried to upload the 500g firmware that I got from ASUS pages, and it says I can't... wrong file, bla bla bla! By the way, this is the Startup log:

I'm not at home, right now... I've already managed to upload the new firmware, but didn't had the time to test the printer before I left!
I'll post some news later on...
