I am a newer in wireless, and just got a wl-500g ap, I have 2 questions:
1. Does WL-500g with default firmware 1.8.1.9 support QoS/WME? Which option is for QoS/WME, I read manual carefully, only "Enable Burst Frame" is hard to understand, is this related to QoS? Need I update the firmware, I did need QoS option to finish my work?
2. I saw some of you paste some command, such as `wl` output, does this mean I can telnet/ssh to 500g? What need I do for this?

what's your problem?
regarding your question, No firmware 1.8.x.x does not support WME
and to use telnet/ssh upgrade to a custom firmware ( for example http://www.chupa.nl/beta/firmware.php?fid=2 )

Well, as Antiloop siad it's not supported with your firmware, also it's not supported in the AP mode either.

You mean even if I upgrade my firmware, I can't enable QoS/WME with this AP?
That's not a good news for me. I got this just for QoS support, though I didn't buy it directly....
Just RTFM (latest) and learn about operation mode. Also, use search button.
P.S. You've to use home gateway mode for QoS stuff and latest firmware.
