client bridge mode doesn't work

I installed 1.9.2.7d-r1612 on my wl500gp v1 yesterday. For some reason I can't get the client bridge mode working. It's supposed to use wpa2 aes to login into my adsl modem/router. The wireless status says it managed to login into my adsl modem/router successfully, but the bridge doesn't work.

Anybody any ideas?

What do you exactly want?
Since I have a wireless switch working here, that connects via WiFi instead of cable to the internet.
It isn't really stable at all times, but it works.

Have you tried ping-ing to your modem when you logon to your wl-500gp via telnet/ssh?
