I wanted to upgrade the firmware, I got it from ASUS website, i uploaded it using the web interface and all seemed well. But the page did not refresh, and after 1 hour, it was clear it blocked.

So, flashing failed, and now the router is useless. Can I do something about this?
Thanks a lot!

I tried the stepts there, ftpt gives a timeout error.

as for the leds blinking, all look to function normal. leds are off if no cable connected.

it crashed during flashing...

Also, I've been reading on this forum and I got suggestions to use Asus Firmware Restoration Tool, but I cannot find this tool anywhere. Does anyone have it?

Sorry, for post after post, but I just noticed that the wireless network looks like working, I can connect to it, it gives IP addresses, but when I try to access the web utility it asks for username and password, and I can't login in with any combination.
Also tftp does not work over wirless.

Hold down the reset/restore button while reconnecting the power. Wait until the power light starts blinking before releasing the reset/restore button.

This step is essential only if the Router starts blinking with the power led slowly its in the recovery mode.
Get yourself a static ip (for example: 192.168.1.5) and then use tftp.

I am quite sure you can recover it, as it seems its not totally dead.
