I had the well known problem with the wl500gp that after a year or 2 the power supply failed. I replaced the capacitor and it works fine again. Unfortunately all settings are gone. All tutorials of installation seem to begin with a reformat of the hard disk. Isn't there a way to just remount the hard disk and be back on track again?
I like to keep my data.

think I already figured it out. in the /etc/fstab put the mount point again, unfortunately it takes a lot of time for e2fsck to check if everything is alright

Yes it takes some time...
when you login with telnet or ssh and type "top" you probably see e2fsck doing it's job:)

It's good to check it now and then to prevent fatal damage to your partitions, since that used to happen to older oleg firmware versions now and then!:p
