I've set up a VPN server behind my wl-500g deluxe.
But it's not possible to connect to it over internet.
It seems to connect to the server but during username/password verification it time-outs with a 721 error.
What i've read here it has something to do with GRE??
Current router setting:
firmware: official 1.8.2.1
enable virtual server = yes
forwarded port 1723 to local IP from server (protocol both and protocal type is blank)
Internet firewall in basic config is enabled but wan to lan and lan to wan filters are disabled.
VPN client is able to connect to the server within the local network so VPN config settings are ok. But when i connect over internet is will not work.
Do i need to setup GRE or something? Do i need custom firmware for doing this?
