Is there any chance to get some Microsoft-made webcams to work with WL-500W? Specially VX-7000 i'm interested.

well... it might when you know how to compile the firmware with the uvc drivers... since they are not included right now.
A reason might be that I don't think these drivers are made for 2.4 kernels:(
