I have just started three days ago to play around with my 500G and installed 1.9.2.7-4, which works well for my usual needs.

Now I want to get my sound card and bluetooth dongle up and running, just for fun (it would be nice to have a internet radio in my stereo).

From reading the forums I have understood that "madplay" is the way to go, and I can download it from the forum and run it with a sample mp3 file to /dev/null, but it does not work if I try to get to the sound card. Either with the default, or /dev/sound/dsp.

Since the LED is not flashing in the sound card, I do not think I am talking to the right port or not doing it in the right way.

I am not unfamiliar with Linux as such, but I have not kept up with the internals for quite a while, so I would appreciate a hint regarding where to poke to get it running.
