I'm going somewhere (guess!) where Internet access is not as free as where I live. However during my stay there I would like to use the Internet without restrictions.

What would be the best way to use my Asus (Oleg's firmware) at home, to give me a normal access to the net?

Should I use VPN or SSH or something else?
I'm not very familiar with VPN but I've used sshd as a proxy server before (-D option) but can't check now if dropbear supports it.

Edit2: Seems like I can't change the title, so the changes were useless :D

Dropbear server supports -D option  You can use it.

Thanks. This will definitely be one option and maybe the only one as setting up a VPN seems to be a pain in the ass... :)

And a reminder to somebody who's planning to use ssh -D for the same purpose: Remember to send the DNS requests through the proxy too! Otherwise "they" will know where you have been!
