HI, i am having trouble keeping my router connected to the internet, but it does not display that it is disconnected.
Many times a day, i have to log into the router, go to the "Status/Log" screen and hit the CONNECT button in order to connect to the internet. The strange thing is, the status does NOT show that it is disconnected, it shows connected. None of the devices connected to the network can access the internet until the connect button is hit (neither hard wired or wireless).
I have the latest Asus firmware, and all the devices are set up with static IP's.
I have had the router for about a year, and the issue has popped up in the past, but in the last few months, i have to log into the router every time i sit down to use the internet.
I have not been able to find any similar issues on this forum that have helped. I have had my internet provider test the lines and replace the cable modem, but the problems still occur.
Any help or advice would be appreciated. I would rather not get a new router again so soon, but it seems like i may have to.
Thanks in advance.
