Hi,
I've had some problems with my wl500gp. (after an fw update) So I did the pin9 trick that made some change (good and bad..maybe very bad :( )

I was able to load up the new OLEG fw (10) and I am able to log in to the webinterface, but no matter what I change after the restart the router forgets everything! Did I fxxxed up the nvram with the pin9? (I held it about 30sec to the ground)
Or is it something I still can do? (except to use it as a paperweight... )
I tried to save flash, commit and restart over telnet, but I get the same behavior. It forgets everything.
Thx guys for the help (in forehand)
Cheers

Ok guys,
I'll answer for my own q. (in case someone else is wondering about the solution)
I gave another chance to the Pin9 but I held it 30sec instead for 10...
So pin 9 to the ground,
power on,
wait 30 sec,
power off,
remove pin9 from ground,
restore button hold,
power on,
when power led is blinking release restore button, and tada! I've tftp Oleg's latest an everything is back to normal! :)
<off>I've just realized that I am using this router for 3.5 years now :) Respect WL-500gP! :) </off>
