Is there a way to turn off the lights withouth disconnecting the leds off the board?

To address this question with a lack of seriousness, you could consider either disabling all network interfaces to turn those off or unplugging the router... but I'm slightly interested in an actual way for this to happen.

It is quite simple ... i am using wl500g as a Print server ... since it is working in a HYBRID mode the AIR light blinks from time to time and the power light is always on ... i have the router in my room and dont want the lights to be on, but dont want to open the router and disconnect them, so i am wondering if there is a way to turn them off by firmware ...

TIA

power and WAN led could be turned off. As for AIR - probably. LAN leds could not be turned off.
P.S. Just use opaque seld-adhesive tape to turn off lights.

done that ... but still ... would be a much nicer solution not to have anything taped to the router ... :)

what would one have to do to turn off the power and air light?
