ipkg segfault on some uslung packages

Any idea why ipkg segfault on installing some unslung packages ?
I have to repeat twice the installation in order to have the package installed.
First 'ipkg install' fails with segmentation fault and second works fine.

As example, it failed on chillispot and ncurses.

ipkg is 0.99.145-3 and firmware is 1.9.2.7-4

I've had that exact problem too while installing thttpdphp. Second time the install completed without errors...

Probably memory allocation errors? I've no idea...

Probably memory allocation errors?I had 64 Mb additional swap memory, so lack of memory is most likely not the cause...

Sometimes, even with swap, there seems to be memory problems. I usually try to install using telnet and I kill some memory hog before retrying a failed operation. Maybe that would help?

For info, this packages work for me without any problem. It can probably be solved by killing some unused process.

I also had this problem with various packages. I only had to try again and it would work in the end.
