Hello,

In which mode will work this device if I will have several clients with 802.11n and several with 802.11g?
Will this work on 802.11g with all (because there are clients with G) or will this work on N with N clients and on G with G clients?

Best regards,
Alexander

Hello,

How much clients may work with ONE such device (in real life ;-))?

Best regards,
Alexander

if you use the original firmware from asus...
and use the download manager stuff, you most likely experience quite a few crashes.

On oleg I don't have any problems running it for a few months tho. In fact... I'm not sure if it ever crashed here:p

well as stated before on the wl-500gP forums

the device can lease 254 IP addresses to clients.
So if you have enough switches to connect to the router you can actually get to 254.

but if you dont: 4 clients on lan
the router has 270mbit wireless (no 300mbit here, or you must go for the RT-N16 coming out soon). With more bandwidth to share... you can hang a lot of wireless clients on it. Like when you have 54 wireless clients, they all can have 5mbits bandwidth... quite reasonable.

it just all depends on what you want, and how fast you want it.
I only have 10 wireless devices, but I never had a slowdown

it standard works together with both N clients and G clients.
the mixed mode allows to do it, but you can also set it to N only.
