Hi all,

my WL500g with firmware 1.9.2.7-3c is running very well (great work, thanks!), but I am a little concerned about the errors reported by ifconfig especially for eth1 (see below).
As far as I understood eth1 is the external interface.
But where do these errors originate? Is my unit somehow broken, or maybe the DSL modem, is my line that bad (does a packet which gets corrupted on the DSL line reach the router or is it dropped by the modem?) or are these CRC errors ("frame" means CRC, doesn't it?) introduced by the sender or some intermediate router on the internet, or could it be any of these possibilities? And why don't the errors show in the ppp interface?
I know that I am talking about only one percent of corrupted packets, but I would like to get rid of them anyway, if possible.

Thanks in advance for your help

Christian

the problem is either due to modem, wl500g or cable between them.

It was the modem.

Thank you very much
