Hi all.
This will be my first post. Congrats for the forum. Fabulous.

My problem is:
I have WL-HDD with firmware 1.2.3.0. and an AP DLink AP2000+.
The WL-HDD is connect to AP2000+ via wireless as WDS to extend my wireless network.
WEP 128, etc... everything works fine during 10 seconds!!! After that, the wlan led stars blinking and never stops. I have to unplug the AC cable to fix this.
During the "blinking state" I can't ping the WL-HDD and it dissapears from my system.

What is this?

Thanks in advance.
José

Í've no idea what it is,
have you tried using WDS with no encryption
also does the other side (the DLINK) support WDS ? and is it configured as WDS?

I haven't tried without WEP.

The dlink supports WDS but if I set this mode (and WDS on WL-HDD) they don't associated.

But this behavior only happens when I switch on my laptop (IBM T40). When it's switch off, the wlan led on WL-HDD is normal, but I can't suppose what's happening...

Should I try Dlink as WDS and WL-HDD as AP?
