i want to connect WL500Gp and Siemens SE515 but all my attempts so far have failed.

connect to web interface of asus:

http://your_ip_Address/Advanced_APLAN_Content.asp

and set the 'default gateway' to the IP address of your siemens.

that works only when i connect my asus to the network via cable
i wanted to make it possible with no cable connection but i'll go with this for now :)

I think you need to have a look at WDS (wireless distribution system).

WDS connects to wireless access points together (as if it was one access point)

disadvantage is that the transfer speed gets halved.

A small network cable in between is usually a better solution.

yes, i tried all possible settings i could think of (and i'm not a newbie when it comes to networking) and it just doesn't work

i'll keep it as it is for now, it's satisfactory :)

tahnks for your effort
