Hi all,

I've been a proud owner of a WL-500gP for a couple years now. I've been using OpenWRT lately and everything has been running smoothly.
However, I recently moved to a new house and decided it's time to build my home network a bit differently (partly due to logistics).
Basically, here's what I'd like to have:
http://img254.imageshack.us/img254/9739/networkmap.jpg

The "Thompson" is a Speedtouch ST546 v6 ADSL router/modem.
I'd like to be able to share my printer/scanner (HP Photosmart C4280) and my USB HDD (WD Elements 500Gb) with the entire network, including the Playstation (the HDD, not the printer ;)). Is this possible? If so, which firmware should I look to?

So far, I'm not even able to have a simple network work 100% ( even without the PS2 and the USB extras). If I let the WL-500gP take care of the DHCP, I have Internet access, but can't access the Thomson modem configuration page (which forces me to connect a computer directly to the Thomson everytime I need to open a port or change a setting).
If I disable DHCP on the Asus, I can't have Internet access. :\ I have DHCP turned on at the Thomson configs, set his IP to 192.168.1.1, changed Asus to 192.168.1.2 and still can't do it.

Looks like it will be a long way until I can fulfill my network project. I'd like to ask if you could give me a hand or some guidance on this. All help is appreciated :)

Cheers,
Gnitrops

assuming Oleg's firmware 1.9.2.7-10.7 (http://oleg.wl500g.info/pre10a/), or 1.9.2.7-d (http://code.google.com/p/wl500g/)
1) set adsl modem to bridge mode, dhcp off, LAN IP 192.168.2.1
2) set wl500gP to raise PPPoE session, WAN IP 192.168.2.254, WAN gateway 192.168.2.1, LAN IP 192.168.1.1

After that you should be able to see wl500gP under 192.168.1.1 and modem at 192.168.2.1 After you make this setup working, you may test enabling dhcp on modem too.
