Hi.
I'd like to set up my router to get a ppp connection on demand (when a client try to browse the web, for instance).
I have an Asus WL-500g Premium V1 with Koppel firmware (version 1.9.2.7-10-USB-1.71) and an Huawei E220.
The problem are:
I don't know how to edit a file and to let that the modified version is persistent : I tryed with
flashfs save && flashfs commit && flashfs enable && reboot but unsuccessfully
I don't know exactly which files I have to edit: I think it's /tmp/ppp/gprs/gprs, but I'm not sure
When I'll find the file and the way to save it, I think it would be enough to add
demand
idle 600
to get a connection on demand and an auto-disconnect if the line is idle.
Every suggestion is wellcome.
Thanks.
