WL700gE as Repeater / WL700gE als Repeater

Hello everybody,

I need some help. I want to use my WL700gE as a repeater but with the original Firmware says no to that point. And I want to put the HDD into sleep mode if I doesen´t use it. Hope someone have an nice idea.

Hallo,

ich brauche etwas hilfe mit meinem Router WL 700gE. Ich möche ihn gerne als Repeater laufen lassen allerdings mag das die originale Firmware nicht. Außerdem möchte ich die Festplatte in den Ruhezustand versetzen, wenn ich sie nicht benutze.

Hello Vazili.
Completely unsupported in the original firmware.
Even the WDS configuration is non-working...

I flashed the openwrt-firmware from wl700g.homelinux.net and now the wl700ge can act as client in WLAN, which means the four ether-ports are repeated.
I didn't test WDS with openwrt yet.

Sleep-mode should be possible if an USB-Storage is provided, which holds the most of the firmware.
