Hi guys,

first of all, I would like to thank Oleg for his great work.

To my problem:
I have "installed" dropbear ssh. Now i would like to remove telnetd (normally process id 39) from the boot procedure.

A possible, but in my eyes there unsafe solution is to add "kill 39" to post-boot.

Is there another possibillity to stop/remove telnetd?

Thanks,
Karl

Killall telnetd. this kills by name not by pid number.

be carefull as there are some performance issue when running command from dropbear. For CPU intensive command, telnet is still the way to go. For general administration, dropbear is the best of course.
