CodePage for Samba

Hello,

I'm using firmware 1.9.2.7-3c and start the samba service.
It could read/write with english file but others can't like chinese file.

I already setup "client code page=950" in smb.conf but still can't get it resolve.

What should I do next? :confused:

Does it have code page 950 and unicode available??

mutlibyte code pages are not supported by this samba version. the list of supported pages are in the /usr/codepages directory.

Actually I do not want to play with samba at this time, as it works fine for me.
If someone is willing to do this, the go ahead and share patches.

Yes. I took several hours to set up code page to be Simplified Chinese but found my efforts in vain. Hope somebody can work out the codepage.936.

how can i add the additional codepages for samba?
i found the /usr/codepages is read-only.
