Is it safe to buy a WL-500g Deluxe or are there still these major problems?

I've posted info on how to upgrade bootloader of the existing units to fix problems. If you think, that you could follow instructions yourself - then you could buy it. In the worst case you could just return it.
We've not received any info from ASUS yet, so it's unclear when to expect units with this new bootloader preinstalled at the factory. I think this would be April/May, although I'm not sure. You may want to contact ASUS Tech Support and ask them directly. I beleive they should be aware of this problem.

I found offers of the dealers that call ASUS WL-500g DEL with a manufactor-number 90-I3U2E0-3EA.
Does anybody know whether this a the Deluxe version or just the standard version.
