Some of you guys/ladies have managed to telnet to a WL-500gx. Can somebody tell me how to do this since I get an error message?

You need a custom firmware from Oleg on the WL-500gx for this to work. You can find one of those firmwares in the 'Firmware releases' section in this forum.
