Hi!
For several days now i have tried to get my WL-500gp V2 to stream with my PS3! The original firmware does not work with the ps3 properly so I have tried olegs firmware and last night a static build mediatomb on my external HDD. I managed to install Mediatomb on it but I can only see one directory in the PS3 and its PC Directory. In PC directory there’s no files? Do anybody here know what’s wrong?

Have anybody here manage the WL-500 V2 to work with the Ps3 properly? (have not found a thred about .V2 and ps3 in the forum)

Go to http://mediatomb.cc/pages/userinterface - you will need to click the filesystem link, add the location of your media files (either top directory or individually) and select the options to scan recursively (re top directory) and how often you want it to be scanned. Mediatomb then picks up the media files and organises them. The mediatomb website has lots of info re customisation to allow special sorting filters, different file type support etc etc.

I've used twonky, ushare and fuppes - the static build of meditomb tweaked to your hearts content is fantastic and the mediatomb forums are very active.

Hi thank you for spending some time on a n00bi!

I looked att the medietomb site but i dont understand how I do to enter that "file system veiw"?

Shall i write something in a browser? Or is it a thing in the directory of mediatomb?

Witch media streaming program do you prefer for your WL-500gp?
