Hello,

I successfully installed Mediatomb following the instructions on http://mediatomb.cc/pages/download and using the static binary
/mediatomb-static-0.11.0-r2-linux-uclibc-mips32el.tar.gz
(I use the latest Oleg firmware but I never managed to get Mediatomb to work using Optware)

However when I use the

flashfs save && flashfs commit && flashfs enable && reboot

command i get the error message:

/tmp/flash.tar.gz: File is to big (4989227, max 4259840)

and when I restart the router Mediatomb is no longer installed. Any help on how to deal with this would be greatly appreciated.

that means the internal flash is full...
I dunno what how-to you followed, but it helps if you download the file to somewhere else than the standart flash.
like:

cd /opt
wget http://www.bla.bla/file.tar.gz

also, try to keep binaries out of the flash storage, optware is from an external storage device, not the internal flash:)
