Hi, I need help on a problem that is not directly connected to the wl500g but I can't get any answers anywhere else so I'll give it a go here..
I have a Netopia 3351 v8.3.3r1 that is delivered by my ISP (Nextgentel) and it is possible to turn on a feature that puts it in IP-passthrough mode. It all works fine, exept I cant make any dns requests. If I ping www.google.com i get nothing (could not find host), if I ping the ip adress directly i get responses, no problem.. And the weird thing is that if I ping my ISP's dns servers that works fine as well.. I have tried this through my router (wl500g) and without it, directly to my computer with no luck. So I understand that you probably can't know whats going on, but I need some pointers on how to locate the problem.. Find out whats wrong.. Debugging..
My wl500g is running latest oleg fw (1.9.2.7c cr3) and my workstation WinXP SP2.
