Best (most stabil) alternative firmware?

Excuse me for any bad english.

It's been a while since I was messing around with some different firmware for the wl-500w and at that time I found that even though alternative firmwares give much more functions, none of them seemed stabil enough to be usefull for anything else than "playing" with.

Is it the case now and which kind of firmware would that be?

I don't know how long you've been away... but in the last year olegs firmware became more and more stable, defenately on the harddrive part:)
never have any problems again since I'm using oleg 1.9.2.7-10
