Few questions before purchase...

Good afternoon,

I am interested in getting a WL-HDD for all the obvious reasons :)
Just wondering if anyone can help me with a few questions:

a) Can I plug this into my wired LAN via an existing wired ADSL router and from that share my internet connection to my PDA?

b) If A is true (which im presuming it is) then could I just take the two pieces of equipment (PDA and WL-HDD) with me to any wired network and plug it in to the wired network to always have wireless access on my PDA?

c) I read somewhere that you once the device is configured for wireless access to shares, you can no longer access those shares via the wired network, is this true or has this behaviour been changed in either the official or modified firmware?

I'm a noob at this, but hey, you haven't had many replies...

Yes, the LAN connector is DHCP client enabled as default. You will plug this is and it will work straight off the bat. But you will need to configure the bridge.

Yes, if you 54g is open, so will everyone else. You will need to configure the bridge first.

Not true, and I still have the factory firmware..

Yes, obviously certain areas of the admin don't display until a disk is present.
