ASUS WL-500gP mit IPKG-Problemen

Ich möchte gerne eine USB-Steckerleiste mit meinem ASUS-Router betreiben, der wegen dem bequemeren E220-Anschluss mit der aktuellsten Koppel-Firmware versehen ist.

Mir ist das auf einem derartigen Gerät mit Freifunk-Firmware schon gelungen, nur bei diesem zweiten Gerät funktioniert das ipkg install nicht recht, das Gerät beginnt immer mit dem wget ..... aber dann kommen Fehlermeldungen und die Frage, ob ich nicht vielleicht ipkg update machen sollte. Einige ipkg-installs sind zwar schon gelungen - ich weis jetzt nicht mehr wie - aber nun steht die Sache. Außerdem müßte ich libusb installieren und das wird gar nicht gefunden.

Meine Frage: woran könnte das liegen - habe nach Wengi alles nach bestem Wissen gemacht. Auch der USB-Stick ist richtig formatiert und swapt auch.

Könnte man die IPKG-Packete auch von anderer Quelle beziehen (openwrt) - sind sie dann kompatibel?

Hallo Wengi,

danke für die rasche Antwort. Ich wollte jetzt eben alles zusammenstellen für Dich (lsmod, lsusb, dmesg, free, df -h, ps, usw.), dann ist bei ipkg install ..... aber der Vorführeffekt aufgetreten (Gott sei Dank) und die Installation von vier Paketen hat einwandfrei geklappt.

Erklären kann ich mir das Ganze nicht, weil ich nichts anderes getan habe als gestern. Wie die Fehlermeldung genau gelautet hat, weiß ich jetzt nicht mehr, aber "Garbage" ist darin vorgekommen.

Die Sache mit libusb hat sich bei der Installation von sispmctl auch von selbst gelöst. Jetzt muß ich noch schauen, wie ich palantir anstatt der standardmäßigen Kamera-SW verwenden kann, dann fehlen mir nur noch einige USB-Anschlüsse.

Probier mal
ipkg update
ipkg remove wget
ipkg install wget
Eigentlich deutet es auf einen Fehler beim Download hin.
Aber das kann _mal_ vorkommen, nicht regelmäßig.

danke, das dürfte es gewesen sein. Beim remove wurde nichts gefunden, wget aber dann richtig installiert. Könnte daher rühren, daß ich ipkg "russisch" installiert habe, weil noch keine Internetverbindung da war:

Hi,
Wenn wget noch nicht installiert war wird wget von derf busybox verwendet.
Die beiden wgets verhalten sich ab und zu unterschiedlich.
Daher vielleicht die sporadischen Fehler des busybox wgets.

Bei mir ist auch das extra wget installiert.
