Hi,
I've installed rTorrent and I'm quite satisfied. It uses litle CPU and is quite stable. The only problem I have is that the number of peers is quite small. As result the download/upload speeds are also not high enough.
I've tried to download the same torrent with uTorrent client on Windows and it had much more peers and download speeds. Surprisingly when I started to download the same torrent in Windows (with uTorrent), the speed of download with rTorrent on Asus jumped up as well. I cannot explain this effect.
Wenn I stopped the Windows download, rTorrent speed on Asus dropped back as it was.
It is not Firewall issue as I was trying to switch it off without any success.
Any Idea on how to increase the number of seeders/leechers in rTorrent ?
