access WL-HDD over internet

hii all
does WL-HDD have virtual server so that user can access the HD
using webbrowser (http) from internet?
if it's possible, can i just connect WL-HDD RJ45 to my router
which has internet gateway to do that and at the same time also be
able to access WL-HDD with wifi at home??

u can :)
but why server is "virtual" ? absolutly normal server.
but to run httpd server, you need unofficial firmware Oleg's for example and some expirience with linux.
Also if your gateway using DNAT you sould forward needed port.

Anyway a use my wl-hdd as http-server without any problems....

Hi :-)

I want to do the same ... maybe there's a need to change the port for admin from 80 to something other ... maybe set ftp port to sometihing other ... redirect this port from outside with the routersettings to wlhdd internaly ...

I will try to do it next week ... if I have enough time :-)
