printer server with CAPT driver

Hi,

I have the router Asus WL-500g with the firmware 1.6.5.3 and the printer Canon Laser Shot LBP-1210 wich use the CAPT driver R1.01 WinXp. My printer is connected on the parallel port of the WL-500g. It is impossible to print any thing. I read on a forum that CAPT drivers are incompatible with almost of router printer servers.

Can someone help me to find a solution to this problem ?

Did not you try to connect the printer via USB?
BTW, I have found information (which probably won't help you) that any Canon CAPT printer (with parallel port interface) can be connected to network using the AXIS 1610 single port print server.

I try to connect the printer via USB but I have the same problem !

And if I can avoid to use the axis print server, it will be better ...

wl-500 can not support most of page printer, like laser.....
line printer maybe will be ok...
