How to fix problem proftpd for supporting UTF8 [Archive]

Hi,
i tryed to recompile the source file for supporting UTF8 but i have the same problem like precompiled oleg package.
plz help

I found the solution:
Use proftpd 1.3.0 instead 1.3.2rc2 .
For 1.3.0 i found a patch for iconv and is working fine.
