I've bought wl500gP recently to replace my old 804HV. My ISP provides ethernet LAN, and internet via PPTP VPN. For several reasons it's more convenient for me to use pass-through VPN with my ISP. It worked OK with my old router but not with wl500gP. I set WAN for Auto IP so that the router could connect to LAN (and it does perfectly OK) just as I did before and then I try to start VPN connection from WinXP. And what I get is 769 Error - it is as though the router doesn't let the connection pass. I have tried latest Asus firmware and Olegs firmware so far. Deactivating wl500g firewall and setting 1723 TCP Protocol 47 in Virtual Server didn't help. ISP's LAN ip's are 10.0.x.x, (so WAN's ip is something like 10.0.137.20).
Was anyone able to establish a successful pass-through vpn connection?
