hi guys, I have question:
i have wl500g (kinda obvious:-) and notebook ibm t30 WXP+SP2. I would like to provide more security on my network using wpa(nowadays i am using static wep keys) and i simply COULD NOT find a way how to do it. i anybody could be so kind and help me:-)

obvious we don't know what hardware your IBM carries?

so is your wireless card WPA capable? if not then stop right here with trying to 'turn' it on

its cisco pci wireless adapter, due to cisco utlity it is possible to enable wpa.
these to options are availible when wpa is turned on:

Do not use vendor provided utilities, use windows instead for configuring your card...

i ve tryied, to set up wpa with preshared key, same settings in windows xp, but no networks find occur, i am quiting of trying... i ll use wep and turning of router:-)
