I buy this marvellous box for and independant FTP use. Unfortunately the FTP server include is very very poor
Is it possible that someone could prepare a firmware of the latest version 1.2.3.0 added with a true FTP server able to manage user / directory /quota and with a GUI interface ?
Some one good in programming could help me ?

All right. Jocky has already made a realease of modified firmware 1.2.2.8, and this realease get vsftp, which should respond to your request. You can grap the files from the tarball (look in it's tread), get a valid vsftpd.conf file, set up a ftp account (again search in the forum as it is writen in plain english) and you will be able to copy this files to your wl-hdd using samba. You will have to run the ftp manualy, or to switch to Oleg's latest firmware, but that need more customisation.
