700ge Partition Tables Question

Hi,

My drive no longer has the partition table. It was ahem* reformatted... Can I recreate the partition tables and reload the firmware to fix the router?

If so, what is the normal partition table for the 700ge?
If not, any other suggestions would be welcome.

Yes. Reflashing the router will cause it to reconfigure and rewrite the HDD contents. To be sure, though, wipe the first 100Mbytes or so with "dd" before sticking it back into the router.

What type partition (reiserfs, swap ext3..?)
and what is "dd" .
