samba 3.2.0-1 problem

Hi all

I've just upgraded everything in ipkg and the new samba version 3.2.0-1 just doesn't wanna work.
First it was complying about some interfaces, what it did never before. I searched the forums and found some Russian ones with config files, they didn't help. The processes are running, shares are defined, even interface (br0) now, but nothing can be seen in the workgroup.
Should I downgrade, or?

Hi there,
you need to chesk few properties which have changed in a new release:


#interfaces = br0
bind interfaces only = yes
interfaces = 192.168.1.1/24
hosts allow = 192.168.1.1/255.255.255.0


It seems to me, that the main issue is that samba could not determine interfaces automatically, so you need to set them up manually. Good luck

you're right, the ip address range was still missing for it, that made it work! Many many thanks! :)
